Raspberries are in season from late summer to early autumn. Raspberries are undoubtedly one of the most delicately flavoured of the berries. Perhaps one of the best ways to showcase their glorious colour and tart flavour is to serve them simply topped with whipped cream, perhaps sweetened with sugar. Raspberries provide a good counter balance for rich flavours, so are often teamed with white or dark chocolate in mousses, or brownies. To Prepare: Avoid washing raspberries if you can. If you do need to wash them do so just before serving. To Store: Raspberries are a delicate fruit and should be eaten soon after purchase. Store them in the fridge in original packaging for up to 2 days.
